Vector Copy Number Analysis

At GeneWerk, we have developed and validated a probe-based quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) assay for lentiviral vector copy number (VCN) quantification. The assay utilizes a Taqman hydrolysis probe-based approach for the absolute quantification of target copies in up to 100 ng of human genomic DNA.

Probe-based qPCR for sensitive, precise, and accurate VCN quantification

The LV vector copy number qPCR assay provides precise and accurate quantification of vector copy numbers ranging from 10,000,000 to 10 copies using an input of up to 100 ng of human genomic DNA based on regulatory requirements. The assay is highly specific as no background noise levels were detected when evaluating untransduced human genomic DNA.

Validated for quantification of lentiviral vector genome copies

The qPCR assay is validated for the quantitative determination of lentiviral vector genome copies in human genomic DNA. The assay fulfills the targeted specificity, precision, and accuracy requirements for the analysis of study/patient samples.
